On April 14 and 15, 2023, the ninth edition of the Istria Granfondo will be held, an international cycling race that starts from beautiful Umag and, crossing some of the most beautiful places in Istria, will allow you to discover Istria in a dynamic and fun way. Are you ready to accept the challenge?

Everyone has the opportunity to register because there are three different routes suitable for every level of athletic preparation.

ISTRIA GRANFONDO SMALL AND CLASSIC

On Saturday, April 15, starting in Umag, you can tackle the two most challenging routes. If you are very well trained, you can face the Istria Granfondo Small, a 94 km route; if you feel like a real champion, you can try the Istria Granfondo Classic, a 119 km route.

During the race, you will cross the magnificent landscapes of the northwestern and central areas of the Istrian peninsula before returning to Umag.

Along the way, you will find four refreshment points to help you recover your energy.

To facilitate organization and your participation, you can collect your race numbers on Friday, April 14, 2023.

In its previous edition, this event saw the participation of more than 700 cyclists from over 15 countries! This year, things have improved even further, and the organization has put in a lot of effort to make the race exciting and challenging. There are also 77 prizes up for grabs for the best cyclists.

ISTRIA GRANFONDO FAMILY & GOURMET TOUR

If you are not a professional cyclist but want to try your hand at a beautiful ride to discover the most beautiful places to visit, we recommend the MTB tour organized for Sunday, April 16, 2023.

This is a recreational MTB ride known as the Istria Granfondo Family & Gourmet Tour. The route is 25 km long and will allow you to discover Novigrad and the surrounding areas. You can cycle along the coast or immerse yourself in olive groves and vineyards.
